Harmony Grove's Draco
Light Rose Gray - looks lavender (Extremely Rare Color)
Draco is a very rare light rose gray. He is very dense and has a nice consistent crinkle crimp that runs from his topknot to his toes. He has a wonderful handle to his bright shiny fiber. He has wonderful confirmation and a beautiful bite. In a years time he grows a four to five inch staple length. To add to his rarity he is nearly spotless, with one small spot of medium rose gray on his side that is smaller than a dime. He has a wonderful heritage with Peruvian King A.K.A. "The King
of Color" as his Grandsire, Macusani as his Great Grandsire, The
Silversmith as his Great Great Grandsire, and The Rootbeer Float as his
Sire. With genetics like these he will certainly throw gray. Draco has
produced 4 crias as of this date. His first cria was a spotless true black
female out of a silver gray. She is amazing, nice and strait, brilliant
luster, good density and, crimp. His second cria is a light to medium
brown male that is absolutely spectacular with incredible crimp, luster,
and a wonderful hand. His third cria is a gorgeous silver grey boy with
wonderful fiber. His 4th cria is a true black girl with white markings
on the backs of her front feet. Draco is co-owned with Glacier Rock Alpacas, Jack and Debbie Perry, where he currently resides in Ira, Vermont. He has produced other crias at Glacier Rock. Awards Received

Praetorian
is a dark fawn Yupanqui son. He has very fine fiber that has a very long
staple length. It will probably be six inches by the time we sheer him
in May. He has nice coverage with very big bones. His fiber is moderately
dense with a consistent crimp that can be seen from his topknot to his
toes. It also has an extremely soft, luxurious handle.
He has a very notable background with Yupanqui as his sire, PPPeruvian Chaparral as his grandsire, and Hemingway as his great grandsire. He has black in his heritage if you are looking for color. Praetorian has produced 3 cria in 2007, one medium silver gray, and 2 dark brown males. He has passed on his amazing head and coverage to all of his crias.
Yupanqui, Praetorian's father, was the #1 male pick of the 1995 Five Star Peruvian importation. This outstanding full Accoyo white stud male with extremely fine (20.8 at five years old), bright, deep amplitude crimp, dense fiber and prolific history. Yupanqui recently passed away. He held his fineness past his tenth year. Praetorian carries on his legacy.
